Germany introduces new anti hacker measures

The draconian measures will attempt to criminalize the creation or even just having any software that will allow the user to even attempt to hack or enter a Website without permission.

These updates aim to make the hackers into criminals; this includes denial of service attacks and other hacking assaults mainly against other individuals, which is probably much worse than corporate or government hacking.

It is thought that even the gaining access to data, without the intention of stealing of anything would also be an arrestable offence, which could be punishable by up to ten years imprisonment.

Before anyone thinks that it is ok, because it is Germany, think again, because these are the same proposals that the UK government are planning to bring in too under the Police and Justice Bill.

The problem is for the authorities is catching and proving the hacker has done something wrong in the first place. And what if the skip across the border into a neighbouring country?
