Conspiracy in HD DVD market

Formats have always been a problem for the consumer, this first came to light with games, when some were only available on certain formats and so some people lost out. Now this is beginning to become true in the film distribution market, with HD and Blue ray, while some films will be on both, there are those that will only appear on one or the other, which is not good at all.

Yet in the background sits Microsoft, do they have a plan? Of course they do, it is to see both formats fail and then they could move in with digital downloading, sounds like a conspiracy there!
