New Internet Treat
Another worm wriggles into the computers of people who received an email that has the subject line of “230 Dead as storm batters Europe” and then compromises the machine into becoming part of a botnet.
Bots are used by many illicit organisations in order to control as many computers as possible to use as slave machines for sending out spam or even practices as used by terror organisations which can then be used to attack other computers, websites or banks to hack into in order to raise some money or hack into other computers in government agencies etc.
So there is a definite need to be safer, secure and just simply careful, these attacks are coming in on a regualar basis, rather than just every now and then. But with the potential for terrorists hijacking your computer and with all that aggravation that will come along with it.
