Got a good password?

Its amazing that after all of the scares and problems that some people have experienced with password security that there are users who are still using very weak passwords, even for such things as banking, password cracking software can get these passwords in minutes, but by making the password a little more complicated, the factors increase.

If you are using short single case password, then you could be in trouble, but by changing it slightly you increase your security significantly. Here’s what you can do:

Use multiple words, like a sentence or line from a song.
Mix up the characters and throw in some numbers.
Use another language.

Remember software can bust an eight letter password in no time at all, mix it up a little bit and the security is increased significantly.
