Government to use spyware

As strange as it first may appear, this is a plan being put forward by the Ministry of the Interior of Germany. This ingenious plan involves allowing a Trojan Horse to be sent via email to terrorist suspects, once installed this would enable the security forces to checkout the suspect’s computer for any incriminating evidence or other interesting information.

However this plan was reject for many reasons, one being privacy and another being that it probably would not work, just because these are suspected terrorists, does not mean they there computers don’t have Norton or other software installed.
