The Malware menace grows

Despite all of the improvements to the security to software, there are many incidents where internet users have been surfing around or clicked on a certain link and have been directed onto a website which has been infected with a malware infection.

The problem is with this type of threat is that hardly anyone know that the machine their using is infected and could be storing all of the users passwords and usernames.

The frightening thing about this type of threat is the increase in occurrences; it has been found that in the last year there has been an 855% increase in malware infections. There was also a 220% increase in the amount of Trojan, viruses, password stealing software and other threats.

It is essential that a computer is protected by an up to date security software package.
