Hotmail no longer available for Outlook

Users of Hotmail and Outlook Express will be experiencing problems towards the end of the month when Microsoft will be turning off a technical protocol. This is known as DAV, and it is this protocol that allows Outlook Express to synchronise with the Hotmail email account and then download the messages.

Users of Hotmail and Outlook Express will be getting details through the email, hopefully they will be able to receive the message in order to understand what is about the happen to the way that they read email.

The reason behind this is Outlook Express is being made obsolete, in fact it has been for some time, about four years ago it was removed from IE7 and so users will need to upgrade to Windows Mail, which is again a free download, but offers much more.
