UK OiNK users arrested

The police in Cleveland have confirmed that they have arrested six people over the weekend with regards to being registered users of the OiNK file sharing site, where they are accused of uploading pre release music.

The five men and one woman who are aged between nineteen and thirty three were taken to their local police stations, where they would have had their finger prints and DNA taken, which will be kept on the national database.

It is believed that they were arrested under the “Conspiracy to Defraud the Music Industry” acts, the charges related to a single album, but the details are not forthcoming at the moment.

This is a clear indication that the music industry with the help of the authorities will stop at no one to put an end once and for all to the illegal downloading of music and film.
