Internet user’s privacy to be limited
Could this be the end of the internet as we know it? Or are we just worrying about the Anti Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) which has been designed to put an end to the problem with file sharing once and for all.
But there are fears that if this is adopted, and there is no reason as to why this should not be, then there are fears that the internet could become a virtual police state. This will throws up all sorts of problems for users.
Not only will this cause problems for file sharers to which it is intended, it’s the development and deployment of new products which need to get be on the internet to be tested.
The problem is that copyright can be claimed by many people from many different sectors, this we mean that even letters and other documents could be copyrighted.
