Spam still on the increase
Over the years Spam has evolved from someone trying to sell you something or to get you to visit their website, to something much more sinister, where the opening of a suspect email can be the beginning of no end of trouble.
Now much of the spam that ends up in users inboxes are for drugs and other not so nice things, however these are just a pain and can be easily deleted, it is the sneaky emails that appear to be from banks and other organisations which are causing the problems.
Phishing emails have become a serious problem for computer users; these emails look as if they are genuine and ask you to click on a link and to fill in the details. But yes these details are then used to either raid your bank or steal your ID, and that is just the beginning of the nightmare.
Unfortunately these emails are on the increase and are getting more sophisticated in that way that they con people out of their details.
