Massive web attack begins
It began earlier this week, and now hundreds of thousands of web pages have been infected with malware, the worst thing that you can get on the internet as it takes many users by surprise and causes so many problems on global scale.
It is thought that the virus has exploited a so called security issue that existed in the Microsoft web server software, all though know doubt they are at the moment working on fixing this problem as soon as they possibly can.
The attack has spread so fast through the internet, that there are many high profile web pages that have been infected; even the UN has had some pages which were infected.
When a user visits an infected page, the java script loads IFRAME, this redirects the browser to a different page which is hosted on the hacker’s server. From here they attempt to hijack the system.
