$1 Billion to monitor P2P

In the states some people are taking the threat of file sharing and its links to crime very seriously indeed in fact on senator has mentioned that the police and FBI should be given more resources to purchase and use specialised software which can monitor the peer to peer networks for any illegal activity.

In order to make this happen, the senator, Joe Biden has suggested that up to a $1 billion dollars should be spent in order to get on top of this problem. His main concerns are the exploitation of children and the exchanging of files through the peer to peer network.

So far there has been some monitoring of the P2P networks and over 1,400 IP addresses have been discovered to swapping child pornography over at least a hundred occasions. This sort of behaviour on the internet is totally unacceptable and any amount of money that gets the job done is well worth it.
