File sharers warning from ISP

Recently it has been found that the larger media companies have been contacting various internet service providers telling them to warm certain customers about their internet downloading activities.

How they can find out is simple, when you download use a bit torrent, you are connecting to different peers, it here where some media companies could if they wanted to, join in and gain you IP address, once they have this then you have had it.

How can you protect yourself form being tracked and then contacted by either your ISP or a giant media corporation?

Keep Anti-P2P Trackers Away from Your Bit Torrent Downloads with PeerGuardian2
Obscure Yourself from Anti-P2P Trackers with a Proxy

While these ideas are said to work, there is no real guarantees that your internet activities will not be monitored and lets face it, nobody wants that do they?
