Wikileaks back online

Despite all of the recent problems that hit the whistle blower website Wikileaks which ended up with a Judge from San Francisco ordering the websites hosting company to have all of their completely removed from the internet forever, the website is now back up an running again as if nothing had happened in the first place.

This is a classic example of locking the stable door after the horse has bolted, the Judge agreed that once something is on the internet it is out there and there is not much point in blocking just one site because they have the details. He went on to say that he had an obligation to it right, which in this case he appears to have done so, even though he got wrong in the first place.

Whatever anyone’s thoughts on websites like this, they do serve a purpose and will always survive in some shape or form, by trying to close them down only gives the site more publicity, which encourages more visitors etc.
